The beautiful Padratscha farm above the small village of Serneus is run according to Bio-Suisse guidelines. The farm houses about twenty suckler cows of the Original Brown Swiss breed and their calves. In addition, 2 horses, some chickens, cats and of course a farm dog populate the estate. The Fehr family cultivates about 20 hectares of land with their farm, including an innovative berry plantation growing much sought-after blueberries. The cows are summered on the Alp Sardasca, near the Silvretta glacier. Only as many animals live on the farm as the farm and the meadows can tolerate, so that the natural cycle is not overloaded and no over-fertilisation occurs. And if, in addition to the varied work, there is still some free time left, then the family can enjoy their beloved Maiensäss.
