Marlies and Jakob Bernet own a homely farm on the outskirts of Serneus. For many years now they have been engaged in dairy farming and Marlies, as a passionate horsewoman, does not miss the opportunity to transport the milk with her horses. The allocation of animals on the farm is fixed: the thoughtful farm manager Jakob is master of the cows and the spirited landlady Marlies is assigned to the horses. Both of them tend to their animals with a lot of heart and passion. From childhood on Marlies has been travelling on horseback and she cannot imagine a life without her beloved horses. Therefore, besides her own horses, there are also boarding horses populating the pastures around the farm. When she goes out riding, Marlies also looks out for alpine herbs, which are then added to her exquisite herb mixture. The exact recipe for this, however, is secret!
